Privacy notice
This notice explains how personal information is handled when you visit silven.eu or contact SILVEN.
Who is responsible
The data controller is UAB Timberis, Šušvės g. 36, Kampai II, Kėdainių r. LT-58204, Lithuania. For privacy questions or requests, email info@silven.eu or call +370 674 55628.
What we process and why
- Website delivery and security. Our hosting provider, Hostinger, processes connection information such as IP addresses, requested pages, request times and browser details to deliver and protect the website. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in running a secure website (GDPR Article 6(1)(f)).
- Inquiries and samples. If you submit a form, email or call us, we receive the contact details and project, company or sample information you choose to share. We use it to answer your request and discuss the requested products. The legal basis is steps before a contract at your request (Article 6(1)(b)), or our legitimate interest in responding to business inquiries (Article 6(1)(f)).
- Privacy choices. Your browser remembers your choice for 180 days. Optional analytics stays off unless you allow it. The legal basis for optional analytics is your consent (Article 6(1)(a)), which you can withdraw in Cookie settings.
When you submit a website inquiry, the contact details, selections, message and any drawing you attach are processed on our Hostinger server and sent to info@silven.eu. We do not store a separate copy of your inquiry in a website database. Abuse-prevention counters contain a pseudonymous network identifier and submission timestamps. They cover a rolling 24-hour period; expired entries are deleted when the next inquiry is processed. Please do not include sensitive personal information that is unnecessary for your request.
Optional analytics and session replays
Only if you allow analytics, we use Microsoft Clarity to understand page visits, navigation, clicks, scrolling and interaction patterns, including collection and colour choices, sample-request clicks, document clicks, and inquiry starts and successful submissions. Clarity provides heatmaps and session replays that reconstruct website activity. It processes pseudonymous browser and session identifiers, device/browser details, page URLs, referrers and approximate location derived from the connection. This is not an identified visitor contact list.
Form contents are masked before the recorder loads. Our custom events contain fixed action labels only: we do not include names, email addresses, telephone numbers, messages, drawings or form-field values in those events, and we do not use Clarity's Identify API. Views with arbitrary URL query parameters are excluded. Analytics is also kept off when a Global Privacy Control or Do Not Track signal is present.
No Clarity script or analytics request is loaded before consent. You can reject analytics and still use the whole website. Withdrawing consent unloads the recorder and clears its first-party cookies; your page reloads. Fonts, photographs and video are served with the website. See Cookies & browser storage and change your choice at any time in .
Who receives information
Access is limited to the people handling your inquiry and service providers needed for hosting, email and communication. Hostinger provides hosting and business email. If you allow analytics, Microsoft receives Clarity interaction data and acts as an independent controller under its Privacy Statement and Clarity Terms. Advertising storage consent remains denied; we do not install advertising tags. If information must be shared with a supplier or delivery service to fulfil your request, only the necessary details are shared. We do not sell personal information or use it for advertising profiles.
International transfers
Service providers may process information outside the European Economic Area. Where that occurs, a valid GDPR transfer mechanism is required, such as an adequacy decision or standard contractual clauses with appropriate safeguards. Contact us for information about safeguards applicable to your request.
How long information is kept
Inquiry records are kept for as long as needed to answer the request, manage the resulting business relationship and handle related claims. Records subject to a legal retention duty are kept for that period. Hosting logs are kept for operational security and troubleshooting according to the hosting service’s retention controls. Clarity normally retains session recordings for 30 days; favourites and a selected sample may be retained for up to nine months under Microsoft's retention rules. The local privacy-choice preference expires after 180 days; you can remove it sooner in or your browser settings.
Your rights
Subject to the GDPR conditions, you can request access, correction, erasure, restriction or portability of your personal data, and object to processing based on legitimate interests. If any processing relies on consent, you can withdraw it without affecting earlier lawful processing. We do not make automated decisions that produce legal or similarly significant effects.
Contact info@silven.eu to exercise your rights. You may complain to the Lithuanian State Data Protection Inspectorate or the supervisory authority in your country of residence or work. Providing inquiry information is voluntary, but we may be unable to answer or arrange samples without relevant contact and project details.
Changes
We will update this notice when our processing changes. If optional tracking is introduced, it must remain disabled until the required choice and information are provided.
